We invite you to a special concert evening of the "Artistic Stage" program, entitled "Return to Brno", which will take place on March 24, 2025 at 7:30 PM in the iconic Villa Tugendhat in Brno. This concert brings a musical story about the combination of youthful talent, a personal journey, and a triumphant return to the place where it all began.
The concert will be performed by the outstanding Macedonian pianist Kristijan Karovski , who has gained international recognition for his technical virtuosity, sense of interpretation and ability to convey emotions. His relationship with Brno is deeply personal – it was here in his childhood that he shone as a laureate of the prestigious Amadeus competition (1997), which became a major milestone in his musical career. For him, returning to Brno is not only a nostalgic memory, but also a celebration of the music that accompanies him throughout his life.
The program will feature masterpieces of the piano repertoire: "Chaconne in D minor" in the Bach-Busoni transcription, Beethoven's strikingly dramatic "Sonata op. 57 Appassionata", Chopin's lyricism in "Ballad No. 1 in G minor" and Claude Debussy's impressionistic paintings, which include the second cycle "Images" and the joyfully captivating "L'isle Joyeuse".
The concert in the Villa Tugendhat, a UNESCO architectural gem, will enhance the atmosphere of the entire evening and create a perfect connection between musical and visual art. Come and enjoy this unique moment when Brno once again experiences the return of a miraculous talent. Tickets are available online on the Villa Tugendhat website.
